What’s in it

What is black seed oil?

Black seed oil is pressed from the seeds of Nigella sativa, also called black cumin. The seeds have been a kitchen staple across the Middle East, South Asia and North Africa for centuries. The oil is golden to amber, with a strong, peppery taste.

Ours is cold-pressed and unrefined, so nothing is added and nothing is filtered out with chemicals. Thymoquinone (TQ) is one of the oil’s naturally occurring compounds; the front label marks a minimum of 2%.
